The successful launch of the Saudi Infrastructure Expo was officially opened on 6th September 2022 by Eng. Thabet Al-Sawyeed, Governor of Saudi Contractors Authority. Saudi Infrastructure Expo has firmly established itself as the Kingdom’s leading event for showcasing and discussing what’s needed to fulfill Saudi Arabia’s ambitious infrastructure plans underpinned by Saudi Vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia is transforming into a global infrastructure hub. A $300bn infrastructure projects plan including giga-projects such as NEOM, The Red Sea Development Project, AlUla, Amaala and Qiddiya Entertainment City are at various stages of development. The Kingdom is diversifying away from being an economy based on hydrocarbons to a diverse and rapidly growing one based on privatization, international investment, and sectors such as tourism, manufacturing, real estate, agriculture, and entertainment.
